About me:

Leaving coastal NSW with a degree in Sport Tourism Management and a Master in Teaching, I headed on an adventure to the Northern Territory. As a registered teacher, I have over 12 years of experience working with young people and programming and planning in various subject areas. After 3 years of working in both schools in Tennant Creek, I moved to Alice Springs where I held the Regional School Sport Coordinator position for over 5 years. During this time, the label Made By Tahlia was born and I was sewing and upcycling garments in my spare time. My latest teaching position was at Yipirinya School for 1.5 years. This was a great opportunity to get back into the classroom and build strong relationships with students and their families.

The Creative Space, is an exciting new journey. I am leaving full-time teaching and diving headfirst into opening a small business. This space provides a platform to explore the art and wellbeing world more.
